Lyndal Curran Doolan

Experienced Australian accent, interesting , adaptable, engaging, professional

I have audio books published on Audible. The first by Christian Larson " Just be Glad", this was a solo project, the second has been working on collaborations with a group from Voices of Today, short stories from Katherine Mansfield " The Doves Nest", the third is a solo project " Dot and the Kangaroo" by Ethel C Pedley ( to be released in June).
I currently volunteer for 2RPH radio station and have been working with them for 13 months, this is a reading service for people with a print / vision disability .
I record 4 programmes remotely in my home studio, first is a 1/2 hour programme recording excerpts from the MINDFOOD magazine, second is 1/2 programme from multiple resources for the Good Food programme, 3rd is a 1/2 hour programme recording excerpts from the Australian Womens Weekly and 4th is a weekly 15 min Profile feature.
In addition to these programmes I announce a morning show and do readings for 2 other programmes which are all live. These are in studio in Studio at 2RPH and cover regional newspapers, The Australian Newspaper, The Sydney Morning Herald, The Australian Financial Review and The Daily Telegraph.
I have gained great experience during my time volunteering and would like to work further in the field.
I love reading and recording. I am retired now and am flexible with time , I am able to work independently and enjoy constructive criticism. I enjoy the challenge of creating audio from text in the appropriate tone and style. I hope you think I have some talent to offer!
