John Merakovsky

Mature and warm voice, with special interest in science and technology.

With a background in science and a lifelong passion for making technical ideas accessible, I bring authority, clarity, and genuine enthusiasm to science and technology narration.

I am the founder of Einstein-A-Go-Go, the long-running science radio program on Melbourne’s 3RRR, which has been on air for more than 30 years. Through broadcasting, public speaking, and live discussion, I have developed a conversational but assured delivery style that makes complex subjects intelligible without making them feel simplistic.

My voice work is well suited to documentaries, explainers, educational content, podcasts, museum and exhibition audio, technology demonstrations, corporate communications, sustainability stories, and narration requiring a credible scientific or technical voice.

I particularly enjoy projects involving science, innovation, digital technology, engineering, the environment, health, research, and the future. Whether the brief calls for warm and approachable, informed and authoritative, or curious and energetic, I aim to give every script precision, personality, and a strong connection with its audience.
