About the author:

About this project: When loyalty ends, betrayal begins… Darryl 'Jack' Daniels is a carefree Aussie larrikin who will do whatever it takes to support his family. But when a corrupt police officer steals them all away from him, Jack is forced to embark on a journey that will test his resolve to the limit. An ambitious young police officer offers Jack a deal: help her remove the corruption from her police force, and she’ll help him get justice. But there’s a catch—Jack must enter an underground world where violence is currency and blood buys loyalty. What begins as a desperate bid for retribution ignites a firestorm of chaos, culminating in a day of reckoning that will turn the outback a deeper shade of red… Bruno is Polish, Jack and Leanne are Australian. Jack is telling this story so I need Jack the narrator to have a deeper voice than Jack the character.
