About the author:
About this project: Release Date: November 8th Written by Michael A. Matteo, Thawtless is a YA dystopian about a society where thinking is illegal. When teenager Idere hears a mysterious voice in his head, he risks banishment from the only home he’s ever known. Navigating a deceptive government and a dangerous question, Idere must decide whether to fit in or make an unthinkable sacrifice. We prefer a male narrator but are open to a range of accents as it is set in an imagined world. The target audience is mature teens and young adults. While a clean read, content warnings for sensitive themes are available on the website. Project Details: - First book in a series - Simultaneous ebook, print, and audiobook release (for greatest audiobook sales) - Marketing plan includes an international launch team, quality book trailer, press kit, and influencer outreach - Excerpts from the audiobook will be used in promotions targeting audiobook listeners - We welcome, but do not require, involvement from narrators (e.g. sharing photos or videos of the creation process) About the Author & Publisher: Michael Matteo has experience launching multiple books, screenplays, and films. Appointed Media, though a new venture, brings professional media experience and connections to support this launch. Our team is dispersed, with representation in Australia, China, and America, broadening our initial reach. We welcome both emerging and experienced narrators to audition.
